Whats’s the type of square tube?
The main truss geometry is K-type and N-type nodes. N-type K-type node node is a special case, in which a vertical webs and chords. When a single web become a Y-type node, it is a special case of Y-type nodes, its belly and chord vertical, mainly in fasting truss. Holder or concentrated loads at the X-type nodes, X-type node also appears in the cross webs and the support system. Y – joints, T-type and X-type node node node is the most basic form of truss, is to study the basis for other forms of nodes. In fact, the node type should be the nature of power transmission nodes on the way to divide, rather than simply be divided based on the node geometry.
According to the force transmission characteristics of the node, the node type can be divided into:
- Webs axial force perpendicular to the vertical component of the balance of all the chords from the chord cross-section shear, nodes into T-type or Y-type nodes.
- When the same flank of the lever shaft power chords located in the direction perpendicular to the chord can be self-balanced, nodes into K-type or N-type nodes.
