Recently there will be heavy rain in east part of China, T Racking hereby remind that you should pay attention the warehouse waterproof job and recommend you Choose Suitable Racking & shelving In Rain Area
As you know, March to April is a raining month in east China. Sometime the rain is very heavy which even bring flood, thus it’s very important for customer to do waterproof job well.
Most modern warehouse have good waterproof function, however you should also note below points:
1. check whether the gully drain is in good condition, in case the rain couldn’t not go through from gully drain.
2. Close all the windows to prevent rain follow into warehouse with wind.
3. If possible remove the pallet load on ground to high level.
4. Arrange suitable warehouse manager to monitor the rain situation.
Heavy rain may also bring trouble to the powder coating of racking and shelving. The staff of surface treatment should do better work to make sure the process is implement 100%. Otherwise the surface powder may drop off which will be not good for quality.
Heavy rain may also bring trouble to container loading, but T Racking now have a container loading platform with roof to help container load job smoothly during our work.
In some certain area which have a lot of humidity, surface treatment of racking & shelving system is very important, as the racking stand in humidity area for long time, bad treatment may bring rust to racking and corrode the steel. This will bring safety problem to the total storage system.
The surface treatment of T Racking is strictly according to European FEM standard and Australia 4084 standard, the thickness of powder is no less than 0.15mm, which make sure the surface is perfect. For cold store racking, we can also use galvanized sheet or hot dipped galvanized for the surface, thus the racking system could stand long period(more than 15 years) in the environment
